McAuliffe Makes Amends With the African American Community

As a follow-up to my earlier negative post about DNC chairman Terry McAuliffe, it is good to see that he is taking steps to repair damage and a lack of outreach to the African American community. McAuliffe is bringing aboard two former Clinton appointees, former Labor Secretary Alexis Herman and Ben Johnson, head of Clinton’s One America initiative. Johnson will be a DNC Vice Chairman, and Herman’s role is not exactly defined, but the moves are supported by Donna Brazile and important donors and congressional allies, which is all that matters.

Now if he can only get to work on the “Truth Squad” idea…
