So Much For Iraq Being Safer After the Deaths

Well despite the victory lap that Bush already started with the deaths of Saddam’s sons, any hopes that the killings would calm things down and make it easier for our troops have yet to materialize: five more US soldiers have died since the killings of Saddam’s sons, with three of them today.

And Bush better get some good luck soon: a series of new polls from several sources shows that Bush is either losing to, or barely ahead of an unnamed Democratic challenger.
