I'll start the thread off with this thought: a post I think deserves a read is John Dean's review about David Corn's new book, Lies of George W. Bush: Mastering the Politics of Deception.
Dean asks Has George W. Bush Met His Own Ken Starr? And his assessment:
In sum, Corn has done for George Bush what Ken Starr did for Bill Clinton: provided evidence that places his presidency in jeopardy.
Corn (and Dean) stipulate that everyone lies. However, the reasons and motives create the real ethical distinction for these lies. What is your assessment? Do you think we have enough to take him to court?
