Three More US Soldiers Die Today - Now Over 600

by Steve

Why does Bremer look like a deer caught in the headlights?

Three more US soldiers died today in Iraq, raising the total to over 600, 460 of which have died since Bush declared “Mission Accomplished” in May. Plus, as an outgrowth of the arrest of an aide to a leading cleric by Spanish coalition forces over the weekend, more attacks against Spanish forces occurred today. Several senators now feel that it is problematic for the US to turn over sovereignty to the Iraqis by the electorally-driven Bush “cut and run” deadline of June 30. But you won’t hear a peep of bad news about what is happening in Iraq from our Florida recount-tested GOP-led media operation in Baghdad.
