Even in the midst of human rancor and endless wars, there comes news that reminds one, we humans are pretty insignificant when you look at the big picture. Tonight's big picture?

NASA newest space telescope, the Spitzer, which looks for infrared signs in the heavens can see into the dim past more clearly than any other scope that NASA has launched. NASA hopes to find out much more about how planetary and star systems form using Spitzer. Wow.
