This week the paperback edition of Paul Krugman's The Great Unraveling is being released. He will be signing books in San Francisco this week, at A Clean Well-Lighted Place for Books, Wednesday at 7pm (free), and at the Fairmont Hotel, Thursday at 6pm ($15 charge). This edition has been updated with a number of the new columns from the past year and a new introduction where he says that one thing he hopes this book can do is to let people know what is at stake in this election. I can assure you it is a fascinating book and well worth reading. One thing that has changed is when the hardback came out in April of last year, much of what Paul Krugman was saying was considered "shrill". Today, much of what so shocked people then is now considered conventional wisdom.

Last week, I had a chance to interview Paul Krugman as he was preparing for the release of this edition and I'll be publishing that interview in several parts during the upcoming week.

Okay, the floor is yours now.
