Bush Confirms That "Really Rich People Figure Out How To Dodge Taxes"
After the Bush embarrassment at the Minority Journalists event Friday, I thought that Bush was showing signs of mental overload. But then this remark escaped his lips today at an event in Virginia, and now I know something is wrong with the manís microprocessor:
Bush criticized Kerry's plan to eliminate the tax cuts for those making more than $200,000 a year, saying that the "the rich in America happen to be the small business owners" who put people to work.
Bush also said high taxes on the rich are a failed strategy because "the really rich people figure out how to dodge taxes anyway."
Thanks for that double confirmation Mr. President, one, that we should give up the charade once and for all about lowering taxes for the rich, and second, that we should all be concerned about your mental and emotional state.
