No wonder

by Duckman GR

Reading Spinnin Scotty's gaggle from this mornng this afternoon, it suddenly struck me. They're scared shitless because they have no sense of humanity, no sense of what a human being is. To wit:

Q Scott, why the ad hominem attack, or the really personal nature of saying that Senator Kerry lost his cool? Would you be more specific why you think he lost his cool --

MR. McCLELLAN: You know, I had seen some of his comments yesterday before I briefed, and then, when I saw him last night on TV, he just appeared to be angry and lose his cool, and then he used that to launch into false and baseless attacks against the President. I said that that shouldn't be -- his losing his cool shouldn't be an excuse to falsely attack the President.

These people cannot read human beings! That's it. Sen. Kerry's reasoned, uninflected comment, "Well if that's what he want's then I have one resposne, Bring it on" wasn't angry and certainly didn't show any loss of cool. Actually, it was completely reasonable and calm. These miserable failures, seemingly lacking in any human characteristics besides greed and lust, simply are incapable of human understanding.

That has to be it. They give Stepford Wives a bad rep.

And McClellan's disingeniuosness is truly lame.

Q On the Swift Boat ads, can you tell us what the relationship is between Bob Perry and the President? Have the two known each other over the years?

MR. McCLELLAN: I think you can check with the campaign. I think he's been a supporter.

Q And the relationship between Bob Perry and Karl Rove?

MR. McCLELLAN: I don't know -- they know each other, I know that.

These people, they just make my head hurt. I gotta give those WH press corps reporters some credit, they listen to that crap day after day, and no one's gone postal yet. But perhaps this explains their behavior, as someone just e-mailed me said, "I've learned that depression is merely anger without enthusiasm." The poor dears are just numb with anger. That could explain El Blimpo too, numb with Hillbilly Heroin!

I just can't imagine the pain Little Scottie must be in.
