Well, Blow Me Down!

You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows - Bob Dylan

Does anyone besides me find it very interesting about these hurricanes we've had of late only causing serious damage in the states where the GOP has performed nefarious anti-American actions in the past?

"Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness"

South Carolina, where Gaston emptied his bladder after forming with incredible rapidity just off the coast while over the Gulf Stream, (Tropical Storm Hermine formed over essentially the same volume of warm water as Gaston if one takes the speed of the current into account, but it isn't expected to become a hurricane.), is of course where George Whopperteller Bu$h gained the cooperation of the people of South Carolina in ending McCain's viable presidential ambitions by besmirching the character of John McCain through the use of attack ads.

"Thou Shalt Not Steal"

Florida (need I say?) has already been hit by Bonnie and Charlie, and now they are warning about Frances, which will likely batter areas of Florida that Charlie missed.

Of these first seven storms, Alex glanced off North Carolina with some rain, Danielle and Earl broke up before they did much of anything.

Where are all of the good Christians who are defining these troubles as Divine Retribution for sinful Republican behavior? They would be performing the Hallalujah Chorus if these crimes were performed by Democrats!

Personally, I'll start thinking Divine Retribution if South Carolina suffers a serious earthquake (and no - I am not wishing an earthquake on them - I just point out that such a thing is possible).
