As things go from bad to worse, Eric Alterman asks the right question:
Don’t we have a responsibility to our children to impeach a president who sets a bad example for children? Isn’t that what it says in the Constitution?
If we can impeach a President for lying about sex, then it seems fitting that patriotic Americans should be able to impeach a President for lying to start a war of choice. Starting the war was bad enough, but who can forgive the incompetence that has made this war such a total fubar? How can we forgive a President that has wasted countless lives and cost the honor of this country for generations? In an ethical world, he must be held accountable.
