Blame Game On Kerik Fingers Bush, And Undermines Gonzales For AG

Isn’t it charming that the White House says the support of Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton went a long way towards the Kerik nomination? This is just another example of the White House blaming Democrats for Bush’s own screw-ups. And isn’t it interesting that some close to the White House are blaming Bush for bad judgment and his wanting someone too much for political reasons? But not only is Bush being blamed for wanting someone who wasn’t clean, but the story is now coming out that one Alberto Gonzales botched the background investigation. And folks, that undermines his candidacy to run Justice, doesn’t it?
