One interesting and underreported story this week was that the Congress is considering weighing in on the prisoner abuse story. Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC), a former prosecutor in the JAGs unit, believes that the administration actions create a real problem for the military and the rules must be clarified as soon as possible. It seems that the hearings of Alberto Gonzales will be pretty intense.

"I told him [Gonzales] he will be questioned closely on this," Graham said. "Some of those memos refer to the Geneva Conventions as a nicety. It's not a nicety at all - it's the law."

The Geneva Conventions ban not only torture, but also "inhumane and degrading treatment" of prisoners.

What underreported stories have you found this week?
