Domestic Discretionary Spending Would Be Cut 5% In 2006 - Wealthy Left Unscathed

by Steve

For our friends who want to minimize the amount of cuts Bush is proposing on domestic discretionary spending outside of Homeland Security in 2006 and future years (that means you Chris), I pass along this analysis done by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. These programs according to the CBPP would be cut by 5% in 2006, and more so in the out years, but the Administration has yet to identify where those cuts would be.

But at least the wealthy will still get their new tax breaks.
