Happy Birthday To Us
Time flies when you are having a (mostly) good time. Yesterday marked the second birthday of The Left Coaster, which debuted back on February 23, 2003. Along the way, I've been right some of the time, and wrong some of the time, and I suspect that our other editors have a better batting average than I do. But the goal from Day One has been to provide some information and an opinion, based as much as possible on facts readily accessible to anyone. Unlike Fox News or our right wing counterparts, we don't try to manufacture an alternate reality here. I know that some of you will disagree, but welcome to the blogosphere.
I’d like to thank all of the fine editors who subsequently came aboard to assist me and improve this blog, most notably Mary Ratcliff who has tirelessly kept this place humming many times.
And I’d also like to thank our readers, who have also improved the community here with your comments, tips, expertise, intellect, and suggestions. And that means all of you (see, I’m in a good mood today.)
And lastly, I’d like to thank Kos for setting me up with this fine franchise after a rewarding tour as a guest host for him over at the mighty DailyKos.
Again, thanks to all of you for your help and support, and now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
