Pew Poll Shows Slipping Numbers For Bush
(Thanks to Pew Center for this graphic)
The latest and highly respected Pew poll that came out yesterday didn’t exactly have good news in it for the president. First, like other polls of late, his job approval rating fell to 46%, with more folks now disapproving his performance (47%) than approving it.
Second, more people in this large sample, small MOE poll were dissatisfied with the direction of the country (56%) than those who were satisfied (38%).
Third, a majority no longer supports the original decision to go to war in Iraq.
And lastly, take a look at the table above and see how more people describe Bush negatively than those who describe him positively.
