DeLay Has Harsh Criticism for Reagan-nominated Justice Kennedy

by dj moonbat

In his ongoing bid to become the Dashboard Jesus of the "Christian" Right, Tom DeLay spoke out against Justice Anthony Kennedy, who has recently become even less popular among the committed Wackjob Right than fellow sellout David Souter. Apparently, Ronald Reagan didn't know much about how to pick conservative judges, because Kennedy is apparently a menace to the bench.

Perhaps most entertaining of all is DeLay's weird spin that Kennedy is committing the outrage of Internet research:

“We’ve got Justice Kennedy writing decisions based upon international law, not the Constitution of the United States? That’s just outrageous,” DeLay told Fox News Radio. “And not only that, but he said in session that he does his own research on the Internet? That is just incredibly outrageous.”

Now, I'm only in my second year of law school, so maybe they haven't had a chance to cover the part about the catastrophic impact of the Internet on the legal profession. But is this the kind of thing that gets people's hackles up? Does the mere thought of Kennedy sitting at a cathode ray tube instead of a pile of musty tomes really get 'wingers riled up?

Tom is going to be providing us some "incredibly outrageous" entertainment himself over the next few weeks, I'm thinking. The man is coming unhinged.
