Get ready for the White House to install John Bolton through a recess appointment. As the White House says, he is desperately needed at the UN. I can only imagine what for.

This manuever lets the GOP senators pass responsibility for this pick back to the White House. It remains to be seen how much if any support Bolton will have at the UN when his peers will know how he got installed. But then, Bolton isn't being put there to do anything constructive anyway.

Whatever is in those NSA intercepts must be pretty good stuff.
