So now we find out that the Bush Administration, to please the cattle industry no doubt, has been using a “gold standard” test to detect mad cow disease that in fact is garbage, and it took the Brits and a seven-month delay by the Department of Agriculture for us to find this out?
Swell. Food safety is just another issue for the Democrats to run on in 2006.
