Talking of amendments

Al-Muhajabah's observation (via Body and Soul) that the Far Right mocked complaints of Koran desecration but claims to be outraged by flag desecration raises the following question: Does the law banning Bible-burning? If not, does the Far Right plan to introduce an amendment to ban Bible burning?

More importantly, for a bunch of neocon Republicans who crap on the flag all day with their corruption and ship Americans overseas to their deaths on treasonously false pretenses, what is really needed is for Democrats to introduce an amendment banning desecration of Americans (for political or private gain). I'd love to see how Bush and his neocon cronies in Congress vote on that one.
