Important Update

Mary has helpfully posted a link on the top right side of the blog - to my GOP/Rove lies debunking page on Treasongate. It's called "Debunking The Rove Lies". Make sure you check out the link over the next week for updates.

UPDATE: I just completed cataloguing responses to about 30 GOP/Noise Machine talking points (false or misleading)...and I'm sure there's more to come. The page has gone through significant updates, with a new introduction summarizing what the real issue is.

I added the introduction because the GOP is clearly following the same strategy they did with the Swift Boat Veterans for Fraud attack against John Kerry in 2004. Throw out tons and tons of false charges to confuse people and place seeds of doubt in the minds of Americans as to what is true and what is not true. With the new introduction, I summarized what I think the message is that the lefty blogosphere should communicate to Americans and the media.
This is not about Wilson. It is about Bush and his neocon cronies.

I would very much appreciate the help of readers and other bloggers to get the message out to the media and your local Representatives and Senators (especially the Democrats) - both the issue and the debunking of the talking points. We need to make sure that we keep up the pressure on those who are willing to destroy the lives of innocent Americans and lie about it - regardless of whether the media pushes the GOP talking points.
