Gonzales: Supreme Court Judges Under No Obligation To Precedential Cases

by Steve

Read Alberto Gonzalesí comments today, and you would think that he himself is auditioning for the next vacancy on the court, by pandering to the American Taliban. And given his comments that a Supreme Court judge is not bound by precedential cases if he thinks they are wrong, Gonzales has just unwittingly handed the Democrats a club to insist that Roberts tell them exactly what he thinks about Roe v. Wade.

By the way, 61% of those polled want Roberts to clearly tell the Senate his position on Roe v. Wade, so please dispense with the crap that he gets a free ride on this.
