Even though it is right that the Bush Administration work with the EU and the UN’s IAEA to pressure Iran to play ball on its nuclear program on the grounds that we should be working to oppose all opportunities for further nuclear proliferation, our moral argument in doing so is gutted by our withdrawal of support for international treaties in this area, by Bush and Condi's intentional gutting of the State Department's arms control infrastructure, and by Bush’s signature on an energy bill that makes it easier for terrorists to get their hands on uranium.
