The next Cindy Sheehan smear

Via Dave Johnson at Seeing the Forest, I see that the sub-human scum on the Far Right (aka Matt Drudge and Rush Limbaugh) are up to their usual nonsense once again.

This time it's about a supposed letter from Cindy Sheehan's "family" asking her to stop what she's doing. Except that it's signed only by one person called "Cherie Quartarolo" who claims to represent "the entire Sheehan side of Casey's family". Not to mention that Casey Sheehan's aunt and sister (not to mention his high school sweetheart and his Scoutmaster) have spoken against the war. Will Bunch has the full details on this latest, despicable piece of garbage from the Fraud Squad. Spread the word.

A final point regarding comments from depraved individuals like Michelle Malkin. Not only does Cindy Sheehan know her son Casey better than anyone else in Malkin's universe of fraud, let's be clear that Casey Sheehan would most definitely have preferred to be alive rather than dead. The reason he is dead is because people like Malkin and Bill O'Reilly propagandized for a needless war based on a pack of lies. A war that has dramatically hurt America's strength, national security, dignity and stature.

Still putting out the O'Reilly fires of me being a traitor and using Casey's name dishonorably, my in-laws sent out a press statement disagreeing with me in strong terms; which is totally okay with me, because they barely knew Casey. We have always been on separate sides of the fence politically and I have not spoken to them since the election when they supported the man who is responsible for Casey's death. The thing that matters to me is that our family -- Casey's dad and my other 3 kids are on the same side of the fence that I am.

November 2, 2004 was not George Bush's accountability moment: today is. We are finished allowing him to get away with deceiving the American public and abusing his power.

We are mad as hell and we're not taking it anymore.
