Fitzgerald's Departing Supervisor Takes Good Care Of Him
by Steve
Thanks to Jane Hamsher over at FireDogLake, I find that my concerns about Robert “What Tobacco Penalty” McCallum becoming Patrick Fitzgerald’s boss are unwarranted. On his way out the door, departing Deputy Attorney General James Comey ensured that Fitzgerald would be left alone by appointing Associate Deputy Attorney General David Margolis to be Fitzgerald’s supervisor. According to Mark Kleiman, Margolis is an excellent choice, so Fitzgerald should be able to complete his work without political interference from the top of the Justice Department.
