Some Must Sacrifice

by Duckman GR

First, send some money to the Red Cross if you can. Second, expect exactly what we've gotten for the whole of george w bush's life, from him now.

Whether from incompetence, ignorance, greed, hubris, self loathing or some other disfigurement of mind and body, expect nothing less from the boy.

To expect otherwise is to simply enable him once again.

Crazy bushhater talk? Sure, but here's his response to the unfolding crisis yesterday, in between steely eyed speechifying and golfing.

And here's a diary from DKos that has an infuriating rundown of how the mal-adventure, this misguided, malicious, miserable failure in Iraq is making us safer at home. [My bolds]

It appears that the money has been moved in the president's budget to handle homeland security and the war in Iraq, and I suppose that's the price we pay. Nobody locally is happy that the levees can't be finished, and we are doing everything we can to make the case that this is a security issue for us.

-- Walter Maestri, emergency management chief for Jefferson Parish, Louisiana; New Orleans Times-Picayune, June 8, 2004

How much is getting spent in Iraq on a daily basis, and for what noble cause again? bushhater? Oh no, that would be far too simplistic and childish and inaccurate. Bush Justice Seeker perhaps.
