FEMA Director Resigns
by Steve
In a truly "walk the plank" move, The Associated Press is reporting at this moment that FEMA Director Michael "Sleepy" Brown has decided that being impotent on the job at his desk is worse than being impotent and clueless in the field. He is resigning from FEMA, and will now blame the media for his performance. And you can bet that he will continue to swear unyielding loyalty to Dear Leader.
But on the bright side, and if past practice with this administration is any guide, he will get Bush's next Medal of Freedom. And fear not, Brown will look forward now to 1) a large book deal with Regnery, and 2) a gig on Fox News as a disaster expert.
