Karzai tells us to stop bombing his country, and start focusing on stopping terrorism from being imported by Bush’s buddy Pervez Musharraf. And while Bush failed to finish the job in Afghanistan, his new excellent adventure in Iraq has now cost this country 1,904 lives, at a time when things seem to be going to hell in the heretofore relatively peaceful city of Basra due to some troubling behavior by British soldiers, and a rescue of those troops by British forces when it turned out that those soldiers were turned over to a local militia by the Iraqi police.

Update: The AP now reports that a total of 9 Americans have died in Iraq over the last twenty four hours, including five soldiers.
