Blair's Disapproval Numbers Mirror Bush's

by Steve

Looks like Tony Blair is having the same problems that Bush is. A new poll in the Guardian today shows that for the first time a majority want the government to set a timetable for the withdrawal of British troops, regardless of the security outcome in Iraq. And Blair's disapproval rating has now shot up to 58%, a reversal of his recent numbers right after the July London bombings. Respondents in Great Britain think that Blair spends too much time on international issues.

Of course, being W's poodle feeds right into that, such as doing a corporatist about-face on Kyoto.
