Rove And Libby Told They Are In Serious Legal Jeopardy
by Steve
Tonight, the New York Times is reporting that both Rove and Libby are being targeted by Fitzgerald on the relatively narrow charges of perjury and obstruction of justice, and both have been told they are in serious legal jeopardy.
The Post is reporting in Friday’s edition that the White House is already preparing for a transition to a post-Rove environment.
And on the heels of that development comes another story in the Post tomorrow that shows how many can’t believe that the White House that got John Roberts through so easily is the same White House that picked Harriet Miers. It shouldn’t be that hard to figure out, because 1) strong nominees sell themselves while inadequate ones don’t; and 2) the White House has always been overrated.
