Bush Labor Department Lets WalMart Scuttle Workplace Investigations

Gee, I wonder how many other Bush campaign contributors receive this kind of treatment from Elaine Chao's Labor Department? Chao's department has agreed to give WalMart advance notice of any upcoming labor inspections.

Except this is a clear case of WalMart profits getting a higher priority with the Bush Administration than the welfare of kids.

We're talking about child labor laws here, folks. The Bush Labor Department is giving WalMart a pass when it comes to child labor. This might be a good campaign issue next year, don't you think?
