Bush Administration Knew Niger Documents Were Forgeries - BEFORE the War

According to an AP report this afternoon, the Italian government told the Bush Administration in January 2003 that the documents claiming that Saddam was trying to purchase uranium from Niger were forgeries. This means that every statement by the Bush administration on that subject between the 2003 SOTU and the invasion in March 2003 which still harped on the uranium issue or Saddam's pursuit of nuclear weapons was a lie to the American people, the Congress, and the world, and that the Bush Administration knew any claims to this effect were lies.
