Remember that Diebold CEO who boasted that he would deliver Ohio for Bush in the 2004 election? He resigned from Diebold today for personal reasons, amidst a pending securities fraud class action litigation that BradBlog reports is imminent. Diebold has recently been buying back its stock. The developments at Diebold come on the heels of the revelations by a Diebold insider that the federal Department of Homeland Security and Diebold knew in advance of the 2004 election that vote totals on Diebold systems could be manipulated by remote access.
