Hard on the heels of the test that proved Diebold voting machines are easily hacked comes this little tidbit that puts the lie to King George's assertions of fairness and democracy in the Iraqi ($)election:

Truck with allegedly fake ballots detained

[A] truck carrying what are believed to be fake ballots was detained in the Iraqi border province of Wasit, the U.S. military said Tuesday. U.S. investigators were being sent to examine the ballots in Wasit, located on the Iranian border southeast of Baghdad.

The truck's driver was Iranian, as was the truck's license plate, said an Iraqi Interior Ministry source. Authorities are investigating reports that other vehicles with possible fake ballots have been trying to cross the border into Iraq.

Even if Bu$hCo likely isn't involved with this attempt to swing the ($)election, can one doubt that they could? After all - they have better ways of sneaking fake ballots into the system! They don't even need hard copies, as the Florida test proved!

But that's not all, folks! Some other Americans are finally noticing that things aren't going as they were led to believe!

Congress poised to break contract with rural America

America's farmers and ranchers thought they had a contract with the federal government. When the 2002 farm bill was negotiated, it was intended to be in place for six years – adequate time for farmers and ranchers to make prudent business plans that they could take to the bank and that lenders could count on.

Recently, however, the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives passed individual budget reconciliation packages that outline budget cuts that place a disproportionate share of the burden on rural America.

Maybe now they are beginning to understand what we tried to tell them about King George for the last several years?
