Another Bush Lie: White House Was Told In Advance How Bad Katrina Would Be
Just another Bush Administration lie.
Despite claims from the administration that no one could have predicted how bad Katrina would have been (just like those "who could have predicted that Al Qaeda would fly planes into buildings?" lame-ass defenses), it now turns out that the White House was given advance warning of exactly how bad it was going to be. And yet significant federal help didn't arrive until five days later.
Perhaps Joe Lieberman can get off his "Iraq is going well" ass and stir up some righteous outrage against his patrons in the administration over this. But I doubt he will.
