Afternoon Quickies (Uh, No, Not That Kind)
Here’s four quick hits in addition to what we are already covering.
For those of you covering the stupid hiring by the Washington Post of the home-schooled racist Ben Domenech from a far right blog to be their new conservative blogger, you will love the letter that David Brock’s Media Matters for America just sent to the Post demanding that Domenech be fired.
Second, note that Andrew Natsios, who used to work for Bush as head of the United States Agency for International Development, is now coming clean that the Bremer/Rummy/Cheney cabal are responsible for screwing up Iraq reconstruction.
Third, I wonder if Barbara Bush got a nice tax deduction from donating thousands to the Katrina relief fund, with specific instructions that her funds line the pockets of her savings and loan-pilfering son Neil.
Fourth, after Howie Kurtz put on the kneepads once again for the White House and agreed to parrot the “media is too negative on Iraq” meme, CNN’s Jack Cafferty smacked Kurtz.
