White House Linked To 2002 Phone Jamming Scandal
by Steve
Want another White House scandal? Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Remember hearing about the phone-jamming scandal involving the 2002 Senate race between New Hampshire governor Jeanne Shaheen and John Sununu, Jr., wherein Bush campaign operative James Tobin was recently convicted of conducting phone jamming against the Democratic GOTV effort on Election Day?
Guess who made lots of calls to the White House in the days leading up to the race? And guess to which office?
Kudos to the Senate Majority Project and Josh Marshall for digging on this story.
