Open Thread - Unpopular Little Caesar Edition
The latest Survey USA 50-state poll shows that Bush has a net positive approval rating in only four states out of fifty, with many 2004 red states now solidly against him. Pay particular attention to the closely contested states like Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, Florida, and even Virginia, Missouri, and North Carolina, all of which were red in 2004 and all of which are now against Bush less than two years later. Then ask yourself this: how can any GOP candidate in 2008 run on Bush's coattails and hope to avoid a landslide?
OK, it's your turn.
