Medicare "Donut Hole" Arrives In Time For Midterms

Millions of American seniors are finally getting hit with the Medicare Part D "donut hole", six weeks before the midterm elections. Democrats can run ads in many swing districts against vulnerable House GOP incumbents telling voters that a vote for the Democratic challenger is a vote to fix the program, while a vote for the GOP incumbent is a vote to protect drug company and HMO profits and stick it to seniors.
