What Is Bush's North Korea Policy?

by Steve

Watching this administration tie itself in knots over North Korea, when it was Bush himself that helped armed them, leads me to not get too worked up over this issue. Last week, Bush and Tony Snow said that face-to-face negotiations are not an option, and John Bolton said that signatory countries were expected to participate in a blockade if necessary. Now today, Condi says the exact opposite, and then went so far as to say that the United States has no intention of blockading the North. Huh?

Swell. When you guys figure out what your policy is, let the rest of us know, OK? Until then, don’t let us distract you from your Keystone Kops impersonation.
