Bush Is Mr. Irrelevancy

What's more remarkable: the fact that Bush still listens to Cheney on Iraq, or this admission from our National Security Advisor today?

"We're not at the point where the president is going to be in a position to lay out a comprehensive plan," Hadley said.

I guess we’ll have to wait for Armageddon before Bush is able to lay out a comprehensive plan. But the Iraqis aren't waiting any longer. They are turning to Iran to help solve the problem we created.

Iraq's president turned to Iran on Monday for help to stem the bloodshed, and Iraqi officials said talks this week between President Bush and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki will focus on giving Iraqis more control so U.S. forces can withdraw.
"We are in dire need of Iran's help in establishing security and stability in Iraq," Iran's state-run television quoted Iraqi President Jalal Talabani as saying after he met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran.

After years of war Bush isn't able to offer a comprehensive plan, so Iran will step into that void. Where is the right wing outrage? Once again, others will step in to clean up a Bush mess.
