Only 132,000?

Since the Bush defenders tout the unemployment rate as a benchmark of his success, let us take note that in the month of usual holiday hiring, only 132,000 new jobs were created in November, and the unemployment rate actually went up last month to 4.5%. Consumer sentiment is falling, as is the dollar.

I don't know about you, but I've heard that the crowds aren't as large as they were last year. I'm sure some of that results from more online shopping, but what are you experiencing so far this season?
