Word of the Year

by Mary

Via Editor&Publisher, Stephen Colbert feels good because his word, truthiness, has been named the word of the year. Although he's not much for the fact-based agendas of the "wordinistas", because as he says they are elitist, he acknowledged he's a fan of anyone who honors him.

The Colbert Report expresses great faith in the President and he's captured the essence of Bush in this word. And Colbert promises us, you'll never have to worry about finding the truth in a book, when you know you can find it in your gut.

Also via E&P, a link to the Colbert Report episode where Colbert defines the word.
