Cheney Will Be Called As Scooter's Defense Witness

It looks like Patrick Fitzgerald will get a chance to cross examine Dick Cheney at Scooter's trial next month. Watching Fitzgerald go after a defense witness like Cheney should be worth a lot of popcorn by itself. Unless of course this is being done to trigger the pardon in advance.

After all, we can't have such distractions in the coming months when we are going toe-to-toe with Iran in the Gulf, can we?
