Gore Runs Equally As Well As Hillary Against GOP Nominees

The general media narrative on the 2008 presidential race that has developed seems to be:

1. Hillary is the front-runner for the Democratic nomination, but she can’t win;
2. Democrats will have a hard time dealing with the Wise Man of the Apocalypse in 2008; and
3. Al Gore is no better than a second-tier candidate.

Wrong.

1. Hillary runs even or ahead of all Republicans.
2. So does Gore.

Hell, the Democrats already have a 20-point lead over the GOP in a generic ballot question for 2008.
