Kerry Passes On 2008

John Kerry decides against the 2008 race. He still has a lot of money and a lot of contacts, so he will be a player. But he correctly surmised that the 2008 race was passing him by, and that he could have more influence by staying in the Senate undistracted by another national campaign.
