Evidently the Bush administration finally realized there was a refugee problem caused by the turmoil in Iraq. Now that one in seven Iraqis have been displaced from their homes, Rice has announced that they are creating a high level State Department task force to look into what to do about the problem. Yet despite the fact that over a million Iraqis have had to leave Iraq, the US can only accommodate 20,000 Iraqis (at most) this year. How very magnanimous of them.
