Stonewalling Gets You A Subpoena

Yesterday, Henry Waxman finally said “enough” to Condi’s stonewalling and requested she provide his committee with a full accounting of what she “couldn’t have imagined” about the Niger forgeries story. Today, the House Judiciary Committee subpoenas Alberto Gonzales to provide the Justice Department with material withheld from the House so far. This follows yesterday’s request by the Senate Judiciary Committee for Justice to provide some of the same documents short of a subpoena. Christy over at Firedoglake tells us what exactly John Conyers is after, which thanks to the stonewalling, is basically everything and everyone.
