Abu Gonzales testified today that he fired US Attorney John McKay for "poor judgment." So Mckay showed "poor judgment" and was fired because he wasn't a bootlicker.

But Abu Gonzales, bootlicker extraordinaire who also exhibits "poor judgment" has the President's full support.

So I guess that whether you are a good bootlicker or are a bad bootlicker makes a difference on whether you can keep your job in Bush's administration. That and being a wingnut.
