This is one of those stories that is just so strange that it seems to be on permanent recycle mode. After all, I just heard a piece on it tonight from the BBC whereas the article I linked is from 2002. Come to discover, maggot medicine has been all the rage for the past several years for countering the deadly superbug methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Who would have thunk?
