There are many levels of corrupt behavior and Bush is proving he will stand with the most corrupt of his administration because they are more important to him than his vow to protect and defend the constitution. It's pretty astonishing to realize that some of those who abetted him in his grab for power found there were lines they would not cross. emptywheel shows that Patrick Philbin was one who would not blindly follow the President in crossing the line into illegality.
